CEO – The 100 Club of Arizona
What is the most exciting thing you are working on right now?
Working with The 100 Club continuing to share the stories of our public service members so the community understands the sacrifices that are made for us daily. Those sacrifices that have nothing to do with writing speeding tickets.
Show us your work space:
My work space is a little unconventional and usually out and about Arizona spreading the message and mission of The 100 Club of Arizona at events like Country Thunder.
What failure did you learn the most from and what did you learn?
Failure. I am probably harder on myself than any others. However, it’s usually due to procrastination. I believe that success is greater if you don’t wait. The Call podcast is an example of that. I recruited the “man of the year” with FDNY four years ago for a podcast yet it took many years to get into production. Delay can cause failure and I have learned to not to delay things.
What is your go-to strategy in moments of self doubt?
In moments of doubt I am inspired by people who live with the mantra service above self. They can be inspiring in so many ways with a passion and desire to make their communities better.
Who or what are you most grateful for?
Gratitude is my everything! It is what I wake up and reflect upon every single day. I am grateful for my family and friends, without them life would feel empty, for my health and my ability to have solid movement, exercise when others can’t. You name it gratitude encompasses my whole being!
How do you recharge?
To recharge, it sounds crazy, but I like to cook. It gives me an opportunity to show some productivity, but also do things that make my family happy. Sounds like I am living in the 1970s, but not true at all. I also love to get to the gym and do things that I know I am supposed to do, that I often put off in an effort to fulfill the needs of the mission of others.
